 Tribute
to ER Nurses
This tribute is dedicated to all the Emergency Room Nurses that daily
care for the seriously injured. May the Angels above watch over them and
continue to grace them with skills of excellence. |
|
|
|
In the midst of crisis
You assess every case
Without even thinking
You react with grace
The yelling, the screaming,
The chaos at times
Is what you must balance
To ease many minds
Your goals are determined
You move with great speed
An Angel in action
For many a deed
There is no denying
The value you bring
To lives that are needing
A touch of true spring
As spring follows winter
To bear forth new life
So you to your patients
Relieving their strife
You see it's a wonder
From heaven above
Your presence in E.R.
To calm with your love
The fear and the anguish
That so many feel
When rushed to the ER
Their lives in a reel
For so many reasons
Your presence is known
From cubicle to cubicle
Your love is shown
And this is the reason
God called you to be
An Angel in crisis
Intervening With Speed."
