This moment is all you have
One beat of your heart
Alive only by the grace of God

This moment so rare
So often taken for granted
Like pennies in your pocket
That don't really matter

Moment to moment is all we have
Each breath and each heartbeat
A miracle to behold.....
If we stay in the moment

Lord, help us to stay in the moment....
So we appreciate the gifts
You've given....
And treasure each step
That leads us back to You.

Mike Hall is a long time Denver area tennis coach and teaching professional.

  • He writes poetry in his spare time and is married to Sally.

  • Mike and Sally have a daughter named Carly.
