There's a longing in our hearts
A hunger in our souls
That only You can satisfy
There's a yearning day to day
And a gaping hole in our lives
That only You can fill

We are like the blind who sat by the road
Until You appeared
And opened their eyes
We are like the lame who
Waited by the pool
With little hope.....until You spoke
And made them whole

We are the rich with gold and silver....
Shiny cars and mansions....
Who need Your touch to come to life
Please open our eyes and bring hope
And healing to our world, Lord
Fill in the missing places in our hearts
With Your love and goodness
Pour Your mercy on us
And make us whole
Until You come again in glory.
