I will remember your gentle ways

and draw strength from the times we shared

My heart, though wounded, knows that your life goes on

and that we'll meet once again

I close my eyes

and your spirit draws near

healing words you whisper so clear

I'm still beside you

to help and guide you

let no worries keep you down

If at any moment

you feel sad or shaken

Please close your eyes once more....

just picture the road that I have taken

that has led me through heaven's door

No pain can bind me

all trials have passed

I know only joy and peace

at home with my Father at last.

This poem reminds us that death is not the end all of life, but the beginning of a life filed with joy & peace.
