God plants a seed within your heart
but only you can make it grow
Some dance like Rudolf Nureyev
while others imitate Van Gogh

The seed, when nurtured, spawns a dream
It's with you day and night
You may climb Mt. Everest
or be an astronaut in flight

Take seriously the gifts He has given
Treat each one with care
Begin every day with gratitude
And say a simple prayer

Thank you, Father
Let Your light shine through me
Help me take the seed You've planted
And fulfill my destiny

This poem is a reminder that the talents we display are given to us by our creator for his glory -- let us not forget to thank him daily for these gifts.
