 Tribute to a Psychiatric Attendant
This Tribute is dedicated to all the Psych Attendants that watch over and care for our loved ones. May the Angels above watch over them
and continue to grace them with skills of excellence.
|
|
|
|
In
God's eternal home
There is a Hall of Fame
Upon each ivory wall
You'll see a P.A.s name
This
Hall of Fame was built
As tribute to your role
For in the scope of care
A team you do make whole
Your
role was heaven sent
By God's own mighty hand
To watch over the souls
Who few did understand
These
souls are loved by God
He took the time to find
Someone he knew would give
These patients peace of mind
Each
day with watchful eyes
These souls you supervise
To monitor their mood
Bring peace to stabilize
The
conflicts that incur
Aggression that is shown
You soothe with gentle words
To all this fact is known
God
knew within your role
Behavior you'd maintain
Yet when the need arose
With care you would constrain
He
saw your skillful touch
To ease the rage and pain
Of those out of control
And needing much restrain
Yes,
in God's knowing way
Your role truly reflects
The special needs you fill
To souls who feel neglect
And
high above this earth
A tribute in your name
The Angels know it well
It's in God's Hall of Fame.
