Nursing Poetry
 Tribute to Psych Nurses
This Tribute is dedicated to all the Psych Nurses that daily
care for our loved ones. May the Angels above watch over them and
and continue to grace them with skills of excellence. |
|
|
|
In
the dawn of each new day
A hope is conceived
To the discontented heart
A gift is received
It
comes of great Angels
In garments of white
Their names are as special
As the mood they delight
Psych
nurses are many
They're packaged with care
Their goals are as varied
As the hearts that they spare
You
see it's a great thing
As specialties go
To lift up a person
Whose life was made low
For
so
many a heart
In this wondrous world
Is filled with true anger
Their lives in a twirl
There
seems no escaping
This terrible crime
Of shadows refusing
To run and to hide
In
God's infinite glory
He saw this great need
And solved it with beauty
No one's ever seen
He
wrapped up this problem
With silk bows and flair
By placing his healing
In each psych nurse's stare
He
graced them with patience
With hope and with ears
To hear every mention
Of each person's fears
And
this is the message
Each day echoes clear
As dawn starts approaching
New Patients To Steer.
