Rescue Worker Tribute
 Tribute to the Oklahoma City Heroes
This tribute is in honor of all the rescue workers that worked to the point of exhaustion during the Oklahoma City Bombing. The Oklahoma City bombing occurred on April 19, 1995 aimed at the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, a U.S. government office complex in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The blast claimed 168 lives (19 of them children) and left over 800 injured.

There's
a special place you hold
In the heart of God above
Like the Angels in God's home
You're a portrait of his love
You
are Angels without wings
To the victims of Heartland
With each rescue you have brought
Heaven's touch upon your hand
With
great speed you did respond
Never once did you distract
From the hope to save all lives
Selflessly you all did act
And
as God above looked down
In his heart a special pride
Was bestowed in Heaven's home
For all time it will abide
As
a memory to your roles
To the sacrifice you've made
There's a tribute in God's home
That reflects your precious aid
It's
a tribute carved in gold
All the Angels know it's grand
By the title that's been placed
"To The Heroes of Heartland."
