A Director of Nursing oversees, performs and supervises the

Job Qualifications |
|
A Director of Nursing is a Registered Nurse who is required to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or BSN. Most prefer a Master's Degree or MSN.
The position requires four to eight years of nursing experience, with at least two of those years in a supervisory or leadership positions such as Nursing Supervisor or Nurse Manager role.
Depending on the individual state and specific nursing work
environment, certain certifications may also be needed. |
