In the scope of this great earth
There's a special place you hold
And mere words can not express
For your worth is more than gold.
It's a worth that's laced in pearls
Pearls of beauty quite unique
Not found on earth's ocean floors
Nor in any small boutique.
No, these pearls are found above
In a treasured oyster shell
Carefully they're watched with care
Every time they do excel.
There's
a beauty that you hold
That is like this treasured pearl
That's been skillfully designed
Precious like an Angel's twirl.
Every day of every year
You adorn this great big world
And the Angels dance above
In a tribute made of twirls.
Your adornment was designed
By the Master Architect
Who with tender loving skill
Made Your Nursing Role Perfect.
