Housekeeping Poetry

There is a place in Heaven's home
Spectacular to see,
In honor of your daily role,
Where Angels go to be

And in this place a tribute hangs
Of gold and marble lace;
Of golden stars that dangle high
Reflecting Heaven's grace.

These dangled stars are quite unique
They're molded with great care
By cleaning Angel squads above
Who cherish each as rare

Upon each star a name appears
Beneath three diamond chips,
For each housekeeper known on earth,
Encased in marble strips

These diamond chips each represent
The value of your role;
The reason God above ordained
A place called "Keeper's Bowl."

For every Angel knows your role
How hard you work each day,
The many chores that you must face,
The dangers in your way

The risk of slips-and-falls run high
With chemicals that harm,
The aches and tears that no one sees;
You hide, to not alarm

The Angels look on earth below
They watch each cleaning crew
And in their hearts a tribute sings
To honor all you do

You mop, you dust, you organize
You manage with great speed;
You clean, you sweep, you disinfect,
You handle every need

So in your name a star appears
Inside a crystal dome
That shines so bright--it causes praise

     And Honors Heaven's Home.
