 Tribute
to DR Nurses
This DR Nurse Tribute is dedicated to all the Delivery Room Nurses that daily
care for our birthing Moms. May the Angels above watch over them and
grace them with skills of excellence.
|
|
|
|
There's
a special gift you hold
And it's one so clearly seen
It's a beauty to behold
Every mother knows it's keen.
It's
a beauty with a spark
And a touch of Angel flair
For it cradles every Mom
In her moments of despair.
At
each mother's side you coach
Bringing comfort to their pain
It's a given fact, you know
With transition there's a strain.
It's
a strain that's filled with joy
As it signals birth to end
Yet intensity does build
Sending words that may offend.
In
your patience and your stride
Your composure's always kept
It's a skill that lends to soothe
It's a gift held with respect.
For
this gift is God endowed
Every Angel knows its gleam
And it sparkles from below
Like a diamond's precious sheen.
Like
pure diamonds in the sky
Every D.R. Nurse does glow
And the Angels high above
Two by two they come to show…
D.R.
Nurses are the stars
In the D.R. rooms below
By the portraits that are hung --
Portraits of Diamond Rainbows.
